Where should we stay?
We kindly ask that all our guests stay at our host resort Majestice Elegance Costa Mujeres. We want our wedding celebration to be a vacation experience for everyone and we'd love to spend some time with you outside the Wedding Day, be that at the pool, or by sharing a few meals and drinks together. We have set aside a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at this resort and we ask that you make your reservation through our travel coordinator MarieSam.

When should we arrive?
If you've traveled all this way, we'd love for you to make a vacation out of it and join us as early as possible. Our room block is available as early as June 17 to 24, 2023. And the Wedding Day is on Tuesday, June 20th. We recommend that you arrive at least 1-2 days before the Wedding Day. But please come and stay as long as you'd like. 

Will my credit card be charged a foreign transaction fee when I make payments?
The travel supplier is a US-based company that contracts with resorts -- so there are no foreign transaction fees for US-based credit cards. 

What should I wear to the wedding?
Please dress formally for the wedding. Think beachy, but elegant.

Are kids invited to the wedding?
Although we love your children, please note this will be an adults-only celebration.

What do we do about transportation in Mexico?
Transportation to and from Cancun Airport to our resort is included with our group block rates. If you would like to plan any private transfers or excursions, please ask our travel coordinator MarieSam for information and assistance on that request. 

Do you we have to stay at Majestic Elegance? Can we stay somewhere else and still attend your wedding?
All guests must stay at our host hotel to attend our wedding celebration. 

What is the weather like? What should we pack?
Costa Mujeres, Mexico is typically hot and humid throughout the year -- temperatures are usually in the 80s to 90s. We recommend bringing light summer clothing and swimsuits. But bring a light sweater for the evening breeze. Other helpful essentials include sunblock, insect repellent, water shoes, swim coverups, flip-flops, sunglasses, etc. Think beach vacation with beach elegant attire for the Wedding Day and beach chic attire for dinners on the other nights during your stay.

Where are you registered?
Since we have been together for many years and already have most of what we need, we are excited to share our honeymoon fund via Zola, which allows you to gift various experiences that we will graciously enjoy on our honeymoon, thanks to your generosity! However, if you'd rather give a traditional gift, we are also registered at Amazon.
